Happy Birthday to Me

  • Mood: Sick
  • Music: Behind the Blue Eyes-- The Who
  • Reading: Richard III-- Shakespeare
School seems okay. All week, I sat with this really cute sophmore named Dallas. He's in my German II class. We got to listen to Rammstein during German!

So I turned fourteen yesterday.

Talk about the crappiest birthday ever. I have the FLU!

But I did get some awesome presents.

I got: Nightmare Before Christmas--manga version, a cool yin-yang bookmark, an awesome black skirt, a tank-top with The Who on it, a velvety newsboy cap, a $20 gift card for Hot Topic, $100, a pyjama set, a sign (Teenager parking only: all others will be sorry), and a pair of music-themed earrings.

But you know what rocks? Yesterday, my mother was at Hy-Vee, buying some tissues (I went through two boxes in five hours), and you know what? The bagger asked her if she had a freshman daughter named Kelsey. And you know who the bagger was? Dallas!

I can't believe it! I didn't know my mother and I look so alike that someone who's never met my mother can guess that we're related!

Anyways, I'm gonna go. I'm trying to convince my mother that I feel well enough to go to the mall.
